The Centre Recreation Education Wellness for 50+ PENTICTON, BC VOLUNTEER DIRECTORS The Penticton Seniors' Drop-In Centre Society is a non-profit drop-in Centre, seeking individuals to serve on it's Board of Directors. The Society (through the Board of Directors) operates a 12,000 square foot building which includes a large commercial kitchen. Our many activities, include, from cards to carpet bowling and line dancing to bingo. The Centre is open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00 pm. Through our many stimulating social events, recreational activities and volunteer opportunities, we reduce isolation, cultivate connection and increase capacity and purpose in the lives of the Seniors in our community and surrounding area. Our mission is to support healthy, active aging in an inclusive, caring, safe, supportive and affordable environment. Membership is open to anyone aged 50+.
